Privacy Policy

This policy covers Clockness: the website at clockness.app and the services it works with. It explains what we collect, why, and where it goes.

Who we are

Clockness makes animated clocks for your screen. Questions about this policy or your data go to info@clockness.app or through the feedback form.

What we collect

You can browse the site and download clocks without an account. We collect only what the services below need to work:

  • Visit statistics. Google Analytics records which pages are opened, the browser, device type and approximate location, and sets cookies to tell repeat visits apart. We use it to see which clocks people like. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Feedback messages. When you send the feedback form, Formspree delivers what you typed, such as your email address and message, to our mailbox. We use it only to reply to you. See the Formspree Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting logs. Cloudflare serves the site and keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and stop abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Social networks

Clockness has accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube. The Clockness apps use the APIs of these networks only to publish posts about our clocks to the Clockness accounts and to read back the posts of those accounts. They do not ask other users to sign in and do not read, store or share their data. The access tokens for our own accounts are kept privately and used for nothing else.

When you view our posts on a network, its own privacy policy applies: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube.

We use YouTube API Services to publish videos to the Clockness YouTube channel. YouTube content is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We keep only the IDs of our videos and the access to our own channel, which is deleted on request to info@clockness.app and can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fine without them.
  • You can ask us at info@clockness.app what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Feedback messages are deleted on request.
  • The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
