Amber

A glowing orange lens of amber set in a ring of steel gears and rivets. The hands move inside the amber, as if caught in resin.

Legend has it the clock was kept in an amber labyrinth until a rebellious prince traded it away. We cannot vouch for the prince, but the warm colour is a pleasant thing to find on the screen after a coffee break. For another clock from an imaginary world, see Utopia.
